Suspect Punches Clerk Who Stopped Him From Stealing: Cops

Cops are looking for a suspect who they say assaulted a store employee that tried to stop him from shoplifting. Surveillance video shows the incident in Queens, New York. The NYPD says the unidentified person walked into the store and took some items off a shelf. He then attempted to leave without paying. That’s when the employee confronted him. The items were reclaimed and the suspect can be seen punching the employee in the face. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
