Suspected Personal Motive Revealed in Mob Boss Death: Cops

March 18, 2019

Anthony Comello, 24, is accused of killing the alleged leader of the Gambino crime family in Staten Island, New York, last week. It was feared the slaying would spark a gang warfare, but it's now believe the suspect's motive was much more personal. Police say Comello allegedly did the deed for love, because the victim, 53-year-old Francesco "Franky Boy" Cali, didn't want Comello dating his niece. The suspect fired a dozen shots killing the mob boss in cold blood, according to cops.
