Sydney Leathers, a sex worker who exchanged lurid text messages with former Congressman Anthony Weiner, says she’s never been able to escape her role in the disgraced politician’s scandal. Huma Abedin, Weiner’s estranged wife, has brought her back into the spotlight while promoting a new memoir. “She thinks I’m a terrible person, because I’m a sex worker and because of the whole scandal,” Leathers said. “I think she’s a terrible person because she’s still defending this man who is a sex offender.”
