Taliban Restricts Women More by Closing Beauty Salons in Afghanistan

It’s another setback for women in Afghanistan. The Taliban has ordered all beauty salons in the country to close within 30 days. Reports say many women-owned salons sprang up in Kabul after the Taliban was driven out of the city in 2001 by American forces. They have given many women sources of income and served as gathering places for communities. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
