Teen Bit by Rattlesnake Keeps Her Cool and Saves Her Own Life

A Colorado teenager had a brush with death as she says she was bitten by a rattlesnake. Kendal Vandenhoek says she wasn't all that surprised when she saw the snake at her feet. She says she has seen them on the property where she has lived since she was a child. Fortunately, she had first-aid training, so she knew what to do in the event one of them bit her.
