Teen Crowned With Gender-Inclusive 'Homecoming Royalty' Title

This teen changed the game at homecoming. Brandon Allen, 17, accepted the honor of Homecoming Royalty from his Memphis, Tennessee, high school. The title will ensure that everyone who wants a shot at the crown can get one. Although, Brandon says he wouldn't have minded being crowned the queen. A photo of Brandon winning the title posted on the school's Facebook got an overwhelming response. While most commenters were supportive, others were not.
