Teen Hit-and-Run Survivor Bikes Across Country for People Without Healthcare

Nicolas Chien, 17, survived being hit by a SUV while he was cycling in Rye Brook, New York, in March 2020 that required surgery and bedrest. The recovery was slow, but eventually he got back on a bike and dedicated his training and a cross country journey to those who do not have access to health insurance. He cycled almost 3,000 miles for five weeks, raising money for the non-profit International Medical Corps. Inside Edition Digital has more.
