Tennessee Runners Honor Slain Memphis Jogger Eliza Fletcher

Runners gathered in Memphis, Tennessee, to honor slain jogger Eliza Fletcher. The 34-year-old kindergarten teacher and heiress to a hardware company went jogging in the early morning. Fletcher was kidnapped and later murdered. Her friends wanted to turn their grief into action so they organized a run in her honor. As the 8.2-mile run began, cyclists were alongside runners in a beautiful show of solidarity. Many of them stopped and lit candles at the spot where she was abducted.
