Man’s Childhood Message in a Bottle Found 27 Years Later

After 27 years, a childhood message in a bottle was found. In 1995, a group of best friends wrote a message in a bottle and tossed it into the bayou just outside Houston, Texas. Twenty-seven years later, Terry Pettijohn was cleaning a beach with volunteers when he found the bottle. Pettijohn turned to Facebook to find the people listed on the note. Finally, he was able to connect with Brian Standefer. Turns out the bottle only traveled two miles from the place of origin.
