'The Polar Express' Producer Steve Bing Apparently Jumps to Death Amid Isolation

Multi-millionaire movie producer and political donor Steve Bing has apparently jumped from the 27th floor of his apartment building to his death, his ex-wife Elizabeth Hurley confirms. Bing, the heir to a New York real estate fortune, produced “The Polar Express” starring Tom Hanks, and wrote the 2003 comedy “Kangaroo Jack.” He was worth a reported $590 million, and was a prolific donor to Democratic candidates. He famously had a bitter paternity suit with Elizabeth Hurley in the early 2000s.
