8-Year-Old 'Blindian' Disney Star Shines in 'Santa Clauses'

Biracial and multiracial children will get to see a kid just like themselves in the newest version of "The Santa Clauses." Eight-year-old Rupali Redd was cast as Grace, alongside ‘Santa’ Tim Allen. She’s the daughter of Kal Penn’s character. Producers of the film loved Rupali’s talent so much, they changed the character of Grace to be more like her. She says producers changed the character to reflect what she calls her ‘Blindian,’ half African-American, half Indian-American, heritage.
