Theresa Balboa Charged With Capital Murder in Death of 5-Year-Old Samuel Olson

A Texas woman now faces capital murder charges in connection with the death of her boyfriend’s son. Theresa Balboa had previously been charged with tampering with evidence after cops say she was found with the body of 5-year-old Samuel Olson in a motel room in Jasper. The child was reported missing on May 27, but the criminal complaint against Balboa claims she killed him on or about May 12 by hitting him with a blunt object.
