This Baby Koala’s Birth Is Celebrated After Devastating Fires

This new koala joey is more than cute, he’s good news for the entire species! Taronga Zoo Sydney has welcomed its 1st baby koala in a year. The joey named Humphrey is a bright spot after Australian wildfires killed, burned or displaced over 60,000 koalas, leaving them with diminished natural habitats and a lack of food.
