This Woman Lives in the North Pole With Her Dog in Pitch Blackness

December 22, 2020

Cecelia Blomdahl is taking her dog out for a walk, but it’s probably colder where she is than where you are - unless you’re near the North Pole, too. It’s 12 below 0 and pitch black 24 hours a day, but Cecelia is ready to take the dog out, even if she has to carry a rifle in case polar bears show up. She puts reflectors on the pooch in case he darts off into the dark. One upside of being completely isolated in the frozen tundra? No need to worry about social distancing!
