‘Titanic’ Actor Lew Palter Dies at the Age of 94

Lew Palter, an actor well-known for his role as the co-founder of Macy’s department store in the movie “Titanic,” has passed away. The character he played was the great-great-grandfather of Wendy Rush, the wife of OceanGate Expeditions CEO Stockton Rush. Stockton died in the Titan implosion. Palter’s daughter recently confirmed that the veteran stage and screen actor died in May. Lew Palter was 94 years old.
