Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Unlikely to Open to Public Again 'In Our Lifetimes'

Ninety-six-year-old Darrell Bush, a former Army staff sergeant, paid his respects at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, with flowers and a salute to his fallen brothers-in-arms. Mr. Bush fought on the western front in WWII. The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier was dedicated on November 11th, 1921, with the internment of a service member from World War I. It bears the inscription, “Here rests in honored glory an American soldier known but to God.”
