Did the president really propose swapping Puerto Rico for Greenland? That’s the claim being made by a former chief of staff at Homeland Security. Miles Taylor claims Trump made the suggestion in 2018 shortly before visiting Puerto Rico, where he famously tossed paper towels to people who had just suffered the devastation of Hurricane Maria. Trump’s former White House chief of staff Steve Bannon was charged in a multi-million dollar fraud scheme involving the private ‘We Build the Wall,’ fund.
