Uber Holds Series of Zoom Calls with 3500 Employees to Fire Them All

Uber must have missed the message, because they held a Zoom call to inform 3,500 workers that they’re being laid off - all at once. Uber said in a statement that due to logistical constraints this was their best option, and that they are providing severance for those laid off.
