'So You Think You Can Dance' Winner Dies in Ukraine

Volodymyr Rakov was a Ukrainian dancer and choreographer. He was the winner of the 6th season of 'Everybody Dance,' the Ukrainian version of the American competition series 'So You Think You Can Dance.' Rakov put his creative dreams aside after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, volunteering for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 2022. He was killed on the front lines of the conflict, while serving with the 2nd Battalion of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade. Volodymyr Rakov was 30 years old.
