Ukrainians Honor Those Who Died 35 Years Ago at Chernobyl Nuclear Accident

It was a grim anniversary, as people in Ukraine marked 35 years since the Chernobyl nuclear accident. People honored the plant workers and firefighters who lost their lives in the accident and its aftermath. Dozens of people died immediately in the 1986 reactor explosion at the nuclear plant. It was, as “Midnight in Chernobyl” author Adam Higginbothmam told Inside Edition Digital, “The worst nuclear accident in history.”
