University Cheerleader Accused of Hiding Dead Infant in Closet

University of Kentucky senior Laken Snelling has been accused of hiding her dead newborn. Police say they went to Snelling's home after getting a report of a dead infant being found in a closet. They say they discovered the baby wrapped in a towel in a black trash bag. The 21-year-old allegedly "admitted to giving birth" and "concealing the birth." It is not clear how the baby died or who called the police. Snelling pleaded not guilty to abusing a corpse and tampering with evidence.
