Firefighters Save Horse Trapped Upside Down

Firefighters rescued a horse trapped upside down in a California ravine. The Los Angeles Fire Department partnered with the LA Animal Services Specialized Mobile Animal Rescue Team to successfully dig out the horse. Firefighters hiked up to the horse’s location carrying hand tools after LAFD Air Operations pinpointed the exact spot. A rope was looped around the horse’s torso to help lift him up. Their efforts were rewarded with the horse standing up and walking out of the ditch.
