US Citizens Seek Their Own Way Out Of Middle East
March 4, 2026
Alyssa Ramos cried tears of relief Wednesday after getting out of the Middle East. The travel influencer was in Kuwait when the war broke out. Ramos hired a driver for $1,2000 to take her and three friends to Saudi Arabia, an eight-hour journey. From there, she took the first flight available to Cairo, Egypt, where she spoke with Inside Edition. Thousands of US citizens remain stranded. The White House says it is chartering planes and buses to get US citizens out of the Middle East.
