Van Plummets Into Bronx Sinkhole After Heavy Rains Hit New York

A van in Bronx, New York, fell into a sinkhole on Monday. It happened in the Morris Park section of the borough, and may have been caused by the torrential rains that soaked the area that day. The rains came amidst what seems like a worldwide stretch of severe weather — including deadly record-breaking heat across much of Europe. The culprit? Human-caused climate change. As for the van, its owner, Tony Papadodoulos, told CBS2, “It’s life.”
