Vatican Museum Returns Pieces of Parthenon to Greece

Pieces of the Parthenon that were being kept in a museum at the Vatican are being returned to Greece. Pope Francis reportedly “donated” them to the leader of the Greek Orthodox Church as part of ecumenical dialogue. The marbles were reportedly held by the Vatican for more than 100 years. Officials are hoping the Vatican’s gesture will inspire the British Museum to return the pieces of the Parthenon known as the Elgin Marbles. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
