Veteran Pilot Helps 21-Year-Old Land Plane During Emergency

Twenty-one-year-old student pilot Taylor Hash was about to land her plane when, unbeknownst to her, the nose gear fell off. Veteran pilot Chris Yates saw the nose gear drop from the sky as he landed in Pontiac, Michigan. Air traffic control alerted Hash of the issue and put Yates on the radio to help her. As luck would have it, Taylor is also the name of his daughter, who he taught to fly planes. Yates was able to guide Hash safely through her emergency landing.
