Victims of 'Scam' Company Linked to Matthew Whitaker Say They 'Lost Everything'

President Trump recently appointed Matthew Whitaker as acting attorney general. Now Whitaker’s link to a controversial company is under the spotlight. Whitaker served on the advisory board of World Patent Marketing. Authorities say the company bilked inventors out of millions of dollars. Whitaker was not named in a Federal Trade Commission complaint about World Patent Marketing. A Justice Department spokesman says Whitaker “was not aware of any fraudulent activity.”
