Volcano in Philippines Continues to Spew Lava and Ash, Threatening Towns

For two weeks, Mount Mayon has been spewing lava and flames. The volcano remains at alert level four on a five level scale, causing major ash fall in surrounding towns. Authorities continue to watch the volcano in the Philippines as it threatens towns around it. 84,000 people have fled the danger zone, some staying in schools and other crowded shelters.
