Volunteers Try to Save 3,500 Sea Turtles From Cold Texas Weather

Turtles need warmth, too. That’s why Texans have been showing up at the convention center on South Padre Island to bring them in from the cold. Despite these volunteers struggling to keep themselves and their homes warm amid the deep freeze that has gripped much of the state, they took the time to check on these sea creatures and found many of them cold stunned.
