Weapons Suspect Out on Bail Proposes to Girlfriend in Illinois

Keegan Casteel was arrested with an arsenal of weapons, including a scope and laser sight attachment, in a Chicago hotel room over the Fourth of July weekend. Authorities feared he may have been planning a shooting similar to that in 2017 in Las Vegas. But Casteel’s story took an even stranger turn when he was released on $1,000 cash bail this week. After changing into a new T-shirt, he proposed to his girlfriend.
