They're called "extreme day trips," where tourists take off to exotic destinations for just 24 hours. New York City resident Kevin Droniak chronicles his whirlwind one-day adventures. He flew from JFK Airport to Rome just to grab a slice of authentic Italian pizza. His total time in Italy was just 12 hours before returning. The trip cost him less than $650. Another journey took him to Paris, which also took 12 hours and cost $742. Inside Edition welcomed him home from a day trip to Iceland.
