YouTube was created in 2005 in San Mateo, California, and was sold to Google in November 2006 for over a billion dollars. Just before the mega sale to Google, Inside Edition uploaded its first YouTube video and reporter Les Trent explained how to use the platform. Since then, Inside Edition’s YouTube audience has grown. Now, Trent reflects on the video and how he never expected YouTube to become as big as it is. He thanked Inside Edition’s viewers for making the channel a success.
