President Biden Uses CPAP Device for Sleep Apnea

When President Biden stepped out of the White House for his Chicago trip, reporters noticed marks on the president's cheeks and neck. Turns out, they were from straps from a CPAP machine. The White House confirmed the president used it to help him sleep due to his sleep apnea. Sleep apnea is a sometimes life-threatening condition in which breathing may become shallow or even stop during sleep. CPAP machines gently force air into the lungs while a person sleeps.
