Who Stole Sammy? Wildlife Refuge Pleads for Safe Return of Bald Eagle

People on Long Island, New York, are pleading for the safe return of Sammy the bald eagle, a beloved bird who has lived at the the Quogue Wildlife Refuge since 1988. Someone cut through multiple fences at the refuge to get Sammy, and surveillance video shows a person walking off with the eagle in either a blanket or a bag, WCBS reported. Sammy had his wing amputated after being injured by a gunshot wound and can't fly, but his sweet personality has gained him many fans who want him home safe.
