Why 23-Year-Old Artist Is Painting Pakistani Women in a Book

Maliha Abidi honors famous Pakistani women in her book "Pakistani for Women." Her book features portraits of influential Pakistani women throughout history, including Malala Yousafzai. Her goal is to highlight Pakistani women and their accomplishments. "There are so many stories that I could be illustrating or telling," Abidi told InsideEdition.com. "I cannot just draw them and post them online and move on. I need to do something with that and that's where the initial idea for 'Pakistan for Women' came about."
