Why Consumers Are Hoarding 'America's Least Favorite Candy'

An American candy classic on the verge of shutting down is now seeing consumers clamber for what's known as the country's least-favorite treat. Necco, based in Revere, Mass., owns Necco Wafers, known for their unusually long shelf life and bland flavor. In March, the CEO warned the company could close if it doesn't find a buyer.
