Why Meghan Markle Isn’t Going Prince Philip’s Funeral in England

The eyes of the world are on Prince Harry Monday after he flew back to Britain to attend the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip, while his pregnant wife, Meghan Markle, stayed behind in California. One report said that Meghan, who is 7-months pregnant, wasn’t accompanying her husband so as to avoid scrutiny and awkwardness in the aftermath of the couple’s interview with Oprah. But obstetrician Dr. Jessican Shepherd said that flying might not be advisable given Meghan’s medical history.
