It’s not even Halloween, so why is this mom shopping for her kids’ Christmas gifts now? Mom of three Marisa Brahney has already started shopping for toys, because she knows that there’s likely to be long waits for deliveries as America’s supply chain faces extreme stress. More than 60 massive cargo ships are still waiting to be unloaded at ports on the West and East Coasts. Chris Brinkodski, owner of Tons of Toys, says that supply will start to dwindle at the end of October.
