Alligator Attacks Woman Rowing A Boat

A woman was airlifted to the hospital after being attacked by an alligator. It happened in Florida's Tiger Creek Preserve. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says it was alerted to reports of a woman who was bitten on the elbow by an alligator. She was paddling in the waterway on Monday afternoon. An unprovoked attack like this is rare. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission plans to have the alligator captured.
