Woman Born With One Arm Competes in New York City Triathlon: ‘I Got This’

Evelyn Rodriguez was born with one arm. She felt self-conscious and shy about it growing up. It wasn’t until she was an adult that she started to feel comfortable in her own skin. Things started to change for her when she began competing in triathlons. Training as an athlete helped build her confidence. Evelyn told InsideEdition.com, “I wish I could say to my younger self, ‘It’s going to get better. Things will be better. Hang in there and stay positive.’”
