When Leah Jorgenson was 15 years old, she was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome, a hormonal disorder which can cause abnormal, male-pattern hair growth. She says she felt like a freak, resorting to shaving to avoid being bullied at school. A few years ago, Leah was in car accident.
