Woman Embraces Her Birth Mom in Emotional Reunion: 'I've Looked for You Forever'

For decades, Laurie Joncas wondered what her biological mother looked like: Did they share the same eyes or the same smile? Joncas was adopted when she was just five days old from a Pittsburgh hospital in September of 1965. She had all but given up on finding her mom when her brother got her a DNA testing kit for Christmas in 2016. That's how she found Ann Blodgett, the mother who had been looking for her too. The two met face to face for the first time on a South Carolina beach.
