Woman With Rare Disorder Dreams of Being an Actress
When you first hear actress Morgan Toll speak, it sounds as if the 28-year-old has a really bad cold. Her raspy voice is actually due to a rare disorder that leads to recurring growths in the region of her vocal cords. She even sounded hoarse when she was a little girl. “The most common things I get are, ‘Do you have laryngitis?’” Toll said, adding that waiters in restaurants commonly ask if she would like tea with lemon and honey.
