Woman Trapped Inside Car Submerged in Icy Pond Is Rescued

A woman trapped in her car that is submerged in water is rescued. Firefighters break the glass of the windows in order to reach her. They tell her to close her eyes and look the other way so glass doesn’t get in her eyes. Water reaches up to her chest as the rescue, which took place during a storm around 10 p.m., is carried out. A witness told deputies the driver lost control of the car and that’s when it slid into the icy pond.
