This is the inspiring moment 25-year-old Katie Vree got on water skis for the first time since becoming paralyzed. Vree was just 17 when she contracted a spinal virus on a high school mission trip to Guatemala. It left her in a wheelchair. Years before her illness, Vree loved water sports. But after her diagnosis, she never thought she would be back in the water again. But with a little help, she was able to get back to what she loved.
