Woman Who Left Boy on Texas Doorstep Defends Herself: ‘It Wasn't Like That’

The woman seen in a video leaving a child on a stranger’s doorstep is saying she isn’t the villain she has been portrayed as. “Everything blew out of proportion. I'm getting blamed for everything,” Keairra Woods told Inside Edition. The 20-year-old says she was doing the boy's mom a favor by dropping him off at his dad's house, but the child’s mother gave her the wrong address. She said “it wasn’t like” what people believe, that she dropped the boy off at the door and ran off.
