World Central Kitchen Struck by Russian Missile in Ukraine, Vows to Continue to Serve

A restaurant serving Ukrainians in need was destroyed by Russian forces. Nate Mook, CEO of World Central Kitchen, says missile strikes in Kharkiv, Ukraine, hit one of the charity’s outreach kitchens. Four of their staff were injured, but Mook says they are, “in good spirits and recovering.” Despite the missile attack and uncertainty, World Central Kitchen stated, “As attacks increase in Kharkiv, WCK continues providing hot meals and produce for people able to cook.”
