At Least 25 Law Enforcement Recruits Injured by SUV

Several law enforcement recruits were hit by an SUV driving the wrong way down a street. Authorities say 75 recruits from police and sheriff’s departments across Southern California were running in formation. Around 6:30 in the morning police say an SUV driving against the flow of traffic plowed into the group. According to L.A. Sheriff Alex Villanueva, 25 recruits were injured. The vehicle was reportedly going about 30-40 mph at the time of the incident.
