Yoga Teacher Can’t See Her Students in California’s San Quentin Prison

In the fall of 2019, Inside Edition Digital interviewed Chanda Williams, a teacher with the Prison Yoga Project at California’s San Quentin State Prison. But since the coronavirus pandemic began, Chanda has only been able to see her students briefly, and she told producer Mara Montalbano that she’s worried about them. “There's a possibility in all likelihood that some of the students who I've practiced yoga with over these six years may be infected and may actually die,” as a result of COVID-19.
