Zoo Welcomes New Rhino Calf Born With Very Hairy Ears
The Toronto Zoo got a special Christmas present. White rhino, Zohari, gave birth to a male calf on Christmas Eve and everyone is excited because the last white rhino born at the zoo was back in 1990. The zoo says this birth is important for white rhino conservation because the species faces the threat of extinction, with only about 20,000 left in the wild.
